OUR STORY
In 2023, the Rivers Family moved back to Appalachia where our roots run deep. For two Virginia Tech graduates exiting the hustle and bustle of corporate America, we happily settled into sustainable mushroom farming. Fate graciously allowed us to become stewards of the homestead and acreage that was originally the Beale Farm in Buchanan, VA.
Our first year we rolled up our sleeves, harvested oak from our land, and inoculated 150 logs. Now we've expanded our operation to include indoor mushroom cultivation, outdoor garden beds, dehydrated culinary seasonings, medicinal tincture tinkerings, and educational classes.
